palace again

(picture: ‘the science of sleep’)

reading nicanor parra today; and reading about his life, his kind of counter-poetry to the one of neruda. buying clothes second-hand. being too silent for opposition? confusing politics and poetry. how not to? and then a part of sonnet LXXXI from the second one mentioned, neruda, still to the point, however sceptical of genus grande: because the light has come back, it’s there again but this time completely different, a light ; motion and sight. star-gazing, -riding, -tripping; all thoughts wrapped around the beauty we create.  there’s a route again, looming, and there’s inviting, forgiving, patient ground, there’s wanderlust. there’s a palace of projects, here’s to the queen. there’s all this again and completely new, burning and caring. and your touch soft and sharp as a thought and vice versa; and hands entangled in the morning. a massive, dancing gratitude. for it is pure bliss. and listen, as this one said, #No one else, Love, will sleep in my dreams. You will go, we will go together, over the waters of time. No one else will travel through the shadows with me, only you, evergreen, ever sun, ever moon.#
